I have a main document created by a user with “Editor” access. A response document is created by user with only “author” access. Everything works fine on creation. But when the user with “author” access tries to edit the response document they created they are unable to edit it. Why?(The user with author access is the one that created the response doc initially)
Subject: the form needs to have an “Authors” type field in it
In the Discussion template, for example, you will notice a “From” field on all of the creatable-forms. This is an “Authors” data type (with @Username as the formula), and enables the author of the doc to edit their own documents, even if they only have Author access.
