Unable to Delete Notes Documents

To test Authors and Readers fields on a Notes form, I created a few documents with random user names assigned to these fields. As a result, these documents appear in a Notes view but I cannot open nor delete them even though I have Manager access with the authority to 'Delete documents. I ran an agent with the NotesDocument ‘Remove’ method and another agent intended to set the Authors and Readers fields to null. Neither of these agents were successful as they apparently failed to recognize that the documents exist.

I’d appreciate any suggestions on how to delete these documents.

  1. Make a local replica. You’ll get notes you can access only.2. Kill the server’s replica.

  2. Put your local replica back on the server.

Be careful with this way - you can lost private design elements of yours colleagues and other stuff.

Subject: Unable to Delete Notes Documents

You need to delete them from the server’s notes client while opening the database on “Local” on the server. Make also sure that “Enforce consistent Access Control List accross all replicas” is not enabled (under database ACL/advanced).
