I was wondering whether anyone out there has encountered this strange problem. We run GroupShield 5.3 on our Domino 6.5.3 mail server and one of the GroupShield databases i.e. the GSD53_Update.nsf database refuses to shrink down in size after deleting its contents and running a Compact task. I’ve noted that the database is in R6 format but even when I tell the compact task to revert the db back to R5 format it doesn’t do anything. I manage to successfully compact the quarantine database and always make sure that I retain the R5 format on this db. Has anyone successfully compacted the GroupShield update database before?
