Hi All,
I have two Domino servers in a cluster. Because they house large databases, one directory with a number of databases used to be on a separate disk drive using the directory link mechanism. Since DAOS eliminates the need for this separate disk drive, I shut down the server, created a new directory with the same name as the directory link, moved all the files over from that drive into the new directory, removed the link file and restarted the server. No big deal, done this many times.
However, this time I receive on a regular base a bunch of mails (triggered by the statistics reporting) for each database that used to be on the external disk containing the error message “Unable to add entry to Cluster Database Directory (for I:\dominopath\whateverdb.nsf”. The I:-drive is the drive to which the old directory link pointed to.
The message in itself is ok since the path isn’t there anymore, but giving the message only once for each database should be enough. I checked the Cluster Database Directory and the Domain Catalog in any (hidden) view for an entry pointing to the I:-drive, but can’t find any. I removed the directory link several months ago, so it shouldn’t be a caching issue. The event message doesn’t give me any hint either. Anyone any ideas on where I can find the source of this problem, and how to resolve it?
Best regards,
Marco
