Having discovered my density on code colorization, I made some changes to an Agent and hit “Save”. This particular VM can’t access the server the Agent is set to run on. After about twenty seconds of “Saving properties” it popped the familiar dialog about not being able to determine the Agent’s access rights, and I said “Ok”.

Since then that dialog has been just sitting there. It appears as if DDE has completely crashed; I’ve gotten calls from work and done stuff in other VMs for over fifteen minutes and it’s still dead, and it doesn’t respond to CTRL-Break, so I’m killing it…
