Ugly printing of e-mail from within message

There’s a bug in the 8.0.1 client whereby if you print an external HTML e-mail whose content has been rendered by IE (the default config), it looks like the raw HTML export from IE is printed rather than what’s been formatted by Notes on-screen.

It looks quite ugly, and is causing quite a few moans in the office. I know the work-around is printing from the view/folder, however it’s a clunky way of doing things.

Previous comments on this issue suggested that the problem will be fixed in 8.0.2. Does anyone know if this has been confirmed?

had the same problem in a customers infrastucture with 8.0.2 standard single client installation.when loading the basic client (nlnotes.exe) the printing works as expected

due to the information from notes support there is a client notes.ini parameter, BrowseRenderPrintNotes=1, that helps in notes 8.0.2 Standard, this can be populated via policies
