Ubuntu Karmic 32-bit Crashes

When running the Notes Client on 32Bit Ubuntu 9.10, we’ve come across a problem when we click on any hotlinks in e-mails and documents that launch the embedded browser.

At this point the client crashes. When run from the command line we get this error…

symbol not found gdk_x11_window_get_drawable_impl

Any ideas? it seem to also effect other programs such as thunderbird e-mail.

I’m also seeing lots of

Gtk-WARNING **: GModule (/usr/lib/gtk-2.0/2.10.0/engines/libmurrine.so) initialization check failed: Gtk+ version too old (micro mismatch)

messages.

Subject: Warning message is not an issue

The warning message about Gtk-WARNING is not the problem. That warning message only gives feedback about that no “theme” is loaded. That is why scoll-list, buttons etc look blocky.

I’m using 8.5.1 on Ubuntu 9.10 64 bit and have no problems with clicking on links. They open in internal browser. So I cannot help with that issue, sorry.
