When typing the first letter in the To field the notes client popups a list of possible names to choose from.Some times it’s more or less (depending on the names 
) But there are also first letters which will give you
no result, just a “Search Directory for “…””.
Clicken will get you to the popup which one you will see most of the time.
How is this possible and how can I explain this behaviour to my users?

Mail01 shows the popup when typing the first letter, in this case a g
Mail02 shows no popup when typing a different letter in this case a u, only the "Search Directory for “u” is shown
Mail03 shows the popup after I did an enter.
I tested this on different systems / companies and I found that every company has it’s own “letter” problem

Subject: Thanx, the way it works is
The popup will show results of usernames starting with the letters the user has typed in the To field. These usernames are folks the user has either recieved from or sent emails to. If you have no users you have sent/recd emails for some letters then no usernames would show up for those letters and only the search dir will show. Pressing that would mean go and search the server directory to get the results.
