After installation and configuration of Lotus domino 8.0.2 server,how do I know that what type of Lotus Domino server is installed, i.e. if it is an Enterprise server edition or Utility server edition or Messaging server edition.Also, If there is any configuration file or settings from which I will be able to know the type of Domino server that is installed.
Subject: version of domino
Every time you start the server at the top of the console appears the version you are running, also at lotus domino administrator you can see more details at the option of licenses.
Hope i help you.

Subject: Type of Lotus Domino Server installed
how do I know that what type of Lotus Domino server is installed, i.e. if it is an Enterprise server edition or Utility server edition or Messaging server edition.I am aware of the fact that when I start the Domino server,it shows the Domino version information,but where I can find out the type of Domino server(Enterprise or Messaging or Utility server) installed.
Subject: Type of installation
Hi, when searching another problem in here, I read your question. Maybe a little late, but if someone else wants to know the answer how to find out the installation type, here it is.In the servers notes.ini you can see the type of installation. It is logged in the parameter “Installtype”.
The value tells you about the choice made during install:
0=Designer Client
1=Administration Client
2=All Clients
3=Domino Mail Server
4=Domino Enterprise Server
5=Domino Application Server (pre 6.5)
5=Domino Utility Server
6=Notes Client
7=Notes lite
9=unknown (at the beginning of install)
I hope this will be useful for anyone.
Best regards,
Ralf
