Type-ahead not working properly

I have a user with a typeahead problem. If the name that she is typing is in both her local address book and the Notes address book then only the one in the local address book is shown. If the name only exists in the Notes address book then that comes through OK.Recipient name type-ahead is set to local then server and the lookup is set to exhautively check all address books.

I’ve unistalled the client and re-installed it. I’ve created a new location and also created a new local address book and copied the contacts across all without success. I am now open to any suggestions please.

Notes is behaving just like any other e-mail system would if there were duplicates of an address. It is WAD - working as designed.

Notes checks the local address book first. If the address is in there - it stops searching, because it has found the match.

The user will have to either delete names that are already in the corporate address book or call them something else - ex. JohnSmith Home
