Notes 8.5 Standard Fix Pack1, Windows XP x32.
We had to disable recent contacts for all users by pushing out this notes.ini setting via a policy DisableDPABProcessing=1.
Now when users use type-ahead, with a clean address book, no local contacts or recent contacts, searches of employee names from our Domino Directory show results in some sort of random order:
In the to: field of a new memo, I type in “Mike,” and then notes shows me the following names in this order:
Mike Dutschek/RJB
Mike Cotton/RJB
Mike Sullivan/RJB
Mike Munroe/RJB
instead of:
Mike Cotton/RJB
Mike Dutschek/RJB
Mike Munroe/RJB
Mike Sullivan/RJB
Please note this happens with a fresh install of notes, new address book, no recent contacts, no regular contacts, and can be recreated on any notes client?
Why do the contacts not show in alphabetical order, is this a bug?
