After we upgrade from Notes 6.5.2 to 8.0.2, the first time you launch Notes 8 Standard, the IM/Chat window from the Basic client is displayed. Subsequent times when we launch Notes 8, the BASIC IM/Chat window never appears again. I’ve heard others people (in the outside world) have seen this too. Any ideas other than the ini parameter to disable IM as this will mess up our folks that run the 8 Basic client.
