On some users, in a new memo, there are checkboxes for Importance. Low, Normal, High. some have to go to Delivery Options to set Importance. How do I turn the checkboxes on?
In some users Inbox, there is a column that displays an icon if the user has replied to an email. How do i turn that on?

Turns out the Importance setting was a client setting. Its the 3 up- or down-pointing arrows at the right end of new memo toolbar.

Turns out the Delivery Importance is not a template issue, but a client issue. My boss opens and email and has check boxes for Importance. He can open User B’s mailfile and gets the check boxes. If User B opens his own mailfile using his Notes Client he does not get the check boxes.
Plus both my boss and User B have the same template and and ODS version and Inheritance.
It must be a Client Setting somewhere.
Any ideas?

Well, as you mentioned in the subject - This is because they’re using 2 different template, one is StrR6Mail template and the other is NotesR7 mail template. Unforturnately the 1st feature exists on R7 template while the 2nd one on R6.
If you really like the 2nd one, then keep the R6 and copy the new column into the “Inbox” view from a mail db using R7 template.

As far as I can see from a 6.5.3 and a 7.0.2 Mail Template (Std), both Features exist.The additional “delivery options” line should show once you click on the small arrow to the very right of the action button row (send, send and file, etc…)
The column showing the “message has been replied to” icon in the inbox has been there in 6.5, not sure about 6.0 though.
Check the design properties for the template being used, that should help.
