Two instances of lotus notes

Hi everyone,

Is it possible to run two instances of lotus notes? If so, how can I do it?

If I remember correctly, you need to install Notes in a separate location. But before you install, in the WIN directory, rename the notes.ini file. And after you install, change the notes.ini name back.

You will both application from their own exe file.

  • Search. This forum contains postings about that very topic, which is how I did it. You do not need to install twice … you only need a separate directory with a few files in it, like notes.ini, then you launch “nlnotes” instead of notes, with a parameter to that directory and ini file.- That’s it in a nutshell, but incomplete. Search. It’s there.
