Hi,
can you help me with any ideas, proposals or tool:
Global ACME Lotus Notes Domain
Domain Name - ACME
Organisation - /ACME
Organisational Units - Use Country code for both users and servers e.g Pierre Blanc/FR/ACME and CDGMAIL1/FR/ACME
France ACME Lotus Notes Domain
Domain Name - ACME
Organisation - /ACME
Organisational Units - Not in use (as far as I am aware) Pierre Blanc/ACME and NotesServer/ACME
Objectives
Migrate French Lotus Notes Domain to Global Lotus Notes Domain
Maintain access to both global and French servers for users during migration
Establish mail routing between two domains
Migration of applications from French to Global Domain
Best regards
Frank Hüttner
Subject: Maybe like this…
-
Create the new Domain on a new server and all users that should be in the new domain- Cross certify the domains
-
Replicate all db’s between the 2 domains.
-
Create script to replace ID files and update client configuration.

Subject: Questions
Are the two /ACME certifiers actually the same, or two different ones that both happen to have the same name. If the latter, then you cannot cross-certify them as they both have the same name.
CMT for Notes Domains from Binary Tree is a tool for merging / splitting domains.
Subject: Answers
The certifiers are two different ones that both happen to have the same name. I think the only right way is, to use for a migration a third certifier (/ACME1).
