I have a customer who runs an agent on a Domino 8 server. This agent sends mail to other Notes users using their Internet ids. The note leaves the Domino server via SMTP and with the MIME setting enabled and set to "Notes to Plain Text and HTML"When the recipient get the note the Rich-text formatting looks good except any verbage that was in sections are automatically expanded and the twistie is grayed out and does not work. If the Notes client sends this note out with the user setting of Format for messages addressed to internet addresses set to Notes Rich Text format, everything is fine including the twistie.
Question: Can an agent send mail from a server without converting it to MIME like the client can (ie: send Rich Text as Rich Text)? If not, is there something that can be done to get around this twistie problem? Thanks.
