Just wondering if someone could point me to a tutorial for creating composite applications in 8.5. I have read through the information in the designer help file but it does not appear to have been updated to the 8.5 level. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

But thanks for posting. i had checked those out and they are all pretty old. I am just looking for something current. The 8.5 designer is significantly different than the prior releases and since I am just a novice developer I need the correct documentation. Thanks for your help.
Subject: Documentation is lacking with 8.5
Not sure why…maybe it was rushed to market, if you look at how the designer works, or the client will hang, but they’ve had time to update documentation with the release of 8.5.1. With any luck things will improve near the end of the year. Know that doesn’t help you now, but perhaps if you ask some specific questions the gurus on here can answer…hopefully.

I don’t know that I have specific questions at this point. I am just trying to start at the beginning and create some composite apps to demo to my management. I started through the 8.5 help and saw the tasks for creating a app and found that the suggestions don’t match the way the 8.5 designer seems to work. So I thought I would see if anyone else had run into this and had found any good documentation that matches the software. I just want to learn the basics at this point.

This is a distance learning course for advanced developers. There is a very extensive module on composite apps. and widgets in this course.
