Can someone tell me how to turn debugging OFF on the Domino server?

Renan,Thanks for the tip. I followed that lead and found the following parameters in my notes.ini file and nulled them out:

debug_namelookup=0

debug_threadid=0

DEBUG_COMPACT_IMMEDIATELY=0

SMTPCLIENTDEBUG=0

DEBUG_TCP_RESOLVER=0
