Trying to Un-Delete a document

Hello,

At one time, I enable a property that deleted documents that weren’t updated in the past XX days. That was a mistake. Now I have orphans. I wrote an agent that selects all responses. Each document then gets its parent. If the parent is missing, delete the child. To my surprise, I’m getting a hit on the parent document. A stub still exists, containing no Notes Items (fields). My next thought was to update enough fields (Form, etc) so that the document would start showing up on certain views, then reenter the remaining data. But I can’t get the document to show up on any views. What do I need to do to get these stubs to show up as if it still exists?

ISDELETED = False

ISVALID = True

Thanks,

Donald

Donald,

These are read only properties. You cannot get those docs back. They’re gone.

sorry,

They’re not totally gone because I’m reading a document. I can even update fields (Notes Items). The response document doesn’t consider itself an orphan because I can get its Parent doc, even though all I’m getting is a stub.

I’m stuck in limbo. The response documents aren’t oficially orphans, but I can’t see their parent in a view either.
