Trying to route ALL mail to one server

We have 2 servers in the same Notes Domain.

Server A has access to DNS and can go out the intenet

Server B has DNS access but is denied access to the internet.

Server B can deliver mail over to Server A with no problem. BUT if there’s an message destinated for the internet on Server B, Server B tries to send (and fails).

How do I get Server B to route internet mail to Server A?

I don’t want to disrupt mail services on Server A so I need to be careful. Any ideas? Thanks!

Hi Karl;

Use a configuration document that applies to server B that indicates that it cannot connect to the Internet. Look for this field:

But for the configuration doc that applies to server B, set it to “Disabled”. Let both servers replicate the directory to each other and give the router 15m or less to recognize the change. Server B should then route to server A for messages destined for the Internet.

The above assumes the servers are in the same NNN or have mail routing connection documents applicable to them.
