I wonder if there is some sort of “quick fix” for the attachment link error in the new Xpages based Discussion Template.

The discussion template is core to Lotus Notes and unfortunately I do not yet have the expertise in Xpages to figure out where to update the code generating these attachment links.
Lotus Notes started with discussion databases as one of the “bread and butter” applications long before the Internet let’s make sure this gets fixed so that people will not lose confidence in the product.

Subject: Still does not work! 8.5.1
We just rolled out a discussion db out of the template and we have the dreaded “HTTP Web Server: Command Not Handled Exception”.
I just cannot open the db in web! tried the things mentioned in this support note.

I think this is the first time for me in LN that a default template does not work out of the box, it is ridiculous. And please dont recommend reinstall of LN because of a corrupt JVM directory! this is our production system
Having heard so much about Xpages, this is so so disappointing IBM.
