I participated in the Hands-on DB2 to Domino connection at Lotusphere. The labs picked up at the point where the domino and db2 connection is already configured. The problem I’m having is that I thought that I would see the new specific R7 design elements like “DB2 Access Views” and stuff like that. I thought there was a database property or something like that where I could choose that it was an NSFDB2 database. Can someone help to fill in the blanks? I’ve read the IBM online docs on how to set this all up but there did not see to be anything on this specific topic.
Subject: Trying to connect Domino to DB2
I did find something that says compact -p is needed for this. I’m doing this but getting an error that the db is in use. I’m guessing that the db2 connector process will need to be turned off.
