I created a form for managers to lookup employee data using LotusScript in R4, but it no longer works in R6.5.1. The code resides in a form that a manager logs into and pulls data from another Notes database that no one has access to.
Set EmpMastFile = NotesSession.GetDatabase(“SERVERNAME”, “dept\IS\file.nsf”)
Now an error message appears telling the user that they do not have access to this database, which is correct, because it contains HR information on all employees. Any ideas how to access the data without changing access to this database?
