I am trying to get rid of then Lan0 port. But when I disable it on the server. Some clients says. Cannot find the server on the last known address. I have tried to make a new connection on these clients. But they keep remember the old data. The only way I can get rid of this is to uninstall the client and remove any Lotus data found on the computer and install it again. Where does the client saves this data?

It saves the information in fields on the location document in the local address book (names.nsf -$SavedServers, $SavedAddresses). To try to override this information, use the ‘trace’ feature in File-> Preferences → User Preferences → Ports. If this fails you can create a new location and copy all the details over. You could also try to use a formula agent with @deletefield to remove the offending fields but I can’t remember if I tried this or not. Sometimes shutting down the notes client and deleting the local cache.ndk file helps as well.

On the client you can re-order or disable the port as well. LAN0 is probably listed before TCPIP on the client and it’s trying to use it to connect.
