I have lost an archive database and have recovered using a undelete software. The file wasnt restored complete so when i try to open it i get a “File Truncated” message. Fixup doesnt work on it.Anyone has an idea of how i can open the file to at least get some of the mails that are on the database, or all hope is lost?

Try compacting it using the copy method, then try file, Database, New Copy of it. Also, try NotesPeek. Check out the sandbox for that. Good luck!

NotesPeek gives me the same message:“Couldn’t open database: File truncated - file may have been damaged”

is almost never going to work with a database on a server or active in a Notes Client
