Had an issue with Trend Micro leaving stuck emails in the mail.box after upgrading to 6.1 of i. They issued a hot fix (smd_30_as400_en_hfb5411) to me with the description below:
Just got a hot fix from Trend. Fix was described below:
o Issue with mail attachments, which have ‘Ö’ (german umlaut OE) inside file name on i5/OS V6R1M0.
German wasn’t such a big deal, but we do have a large Hispanic force and I seem to recall some stuck email with some of those special characters in the file names.
