I issued a wipe on a iPhone that was lost. It was found but now it’s not functional – can’t get it to boot up. Anyone experience this problem?

I’ve never tried it, but I did see someone in a blog that had. Have a look at http://www.andypedisich.com/blogs/andysblog.nsf/dx/whats-a-hard-reset-do.htm
Seem to recall from reading this blog that after the wipe the iPhone wouldn’t start up again, but hold Home and Sleep for about 10 seconds should recover it.
