I have 2 servers in different countries that are on the same Domino domain and I have Traveler running on both. Both servers are 8.5.1.1 and Traveler 8.5.1.1 (with IF1 too).
When I install the second traveler server the first one stops working. I get messages on the server saying “…cannot process documents with FORM of ‘Appointment’ Template name: StdR6Mail.” and “Access control is set in traveler\map\MapDir.nsf to not replicate forms, views or edits from NA01/Mountbatten traveler\map\MapDir.nsf”. So, seems to be that the mapping databases are replicas on different servers so that when you install Traveler on the second server, they only have that server name in the ACL and no LocalDomainServers group so, once the servers replicate the first server loses access to its mapping databases. Adding the LocalDomainServers groups doesn’t fix it.
I had everything working with just 8.5.1 Traveler so I think this has been introduced in CF1 (IF1 doesn’t have any nsf changes as far as I can see).
Has anyone else had this problem? Any suggestions of what I could try? I’ll go back to 8.5.1 if needed but I don’t want to.
Thanks,
-Tim
