We’re running Domino R8.5.1 on Windows 2003 server, and have recently moved to a new drive - same server. After successfully re-installing both Domino 851 and Traveler 851, found that an iPhone user had lost contact with the server. I installed the Traveler 8.5.1.1 fixpack and all was fine - user re-connected, synching etc., however when I changed the Domino server Windows service from manual to automatic, Traveler did not restart. I checked this process a few times with the same result (even reinstalled 8511 FP).
Also, when I checked the console via Admin client, Traveler was not displayed in the Task list - ‘load traveler’ had no effect either.
I have since left Domino running as a regular windows application so that mobile users can receive mail …
Any thoughts ?..thank you
