Traveler - Domino Address book and Internet mail

Hi,

I have deployed Lotus Notes Traveler 8 as an additional server. Our primary mail server is still on version 7.0.2, which we plannig for upgrade later.

I have couple 2 issues for I searched through this forum as well. The problems are stated though, but I did’nt find any solution.

  1. How do I access Domino Address book from traveler? Is it supported? Is it not working because our Domino address book template is still 7?

  2. When I send mail from Traveler to an internet address. The repient will not receive my the internet address, the From address will be like FirstName_LastName/Domiain. For which internet recepients will not be able to reply.

For the internet mail portion of your post, the issue is being looked at as a Domino PMR. You’ll need to contact support to access more information on the PMR and the resolution when it becomes available.

Where are you trying to access the Domino address book from - the WM client or the server? If the server, is the address book on the Traveler server or remotely on the mail server (or both)?

Thanks for your response. I am not able to do address lookup from Lotus Traveler client for Domino directory address. I mean the server Domino directory. Like I can do a lookup on Blackberry device for server addresses.

Yes, that request has been made before. It is on the list of things to be added as time permits.
