Our traveler server is on the East Coast and I have a user in Central time zone. He’s seeing his calendar entries on his iphone one hour off. Can’t find a setting to fix this. Any hints?

Subject: iphone doesn’t send timezone
IBM support told me:----
The issue why the iphone is acting differently is that where-as the Windows
Mobile and Nokia devices send up their device’s timezone.
The iPhone with is using activesync does not send up it’s timezone. So
when the traveler server is trying to calculate which day the event should
occur on: If the event has it’s own timezone, it uses that. Otherwise it
would use the device’s timezone. And in the case of the iphone, it
would end up using the default (server) timezone.
In my case i had to set the timezone field in calendar entries. Hope that helps!
