Traveler and cluster

I have a question - to which I cant find an answer or documentation.

I have two mail servers that have been recently clustered. Seperately I have a windows 2003 server running traveler (not in the cluster).

mail is set for cluster failover : Enabled for last hop only

Will traveler continue to work? Or does this need adding to the cluster too?

Subject: RE: Traveler and cluster

Traveler will continue to work and does not need to be in the cluster. Traveler can be in the cluster, but it doesn’t need to be in the cluster.

Subject: Traveler fails when mail server drops (clustered)

02/07/2008 15:22:59 Notes Traveler: SEVERE CN=xxx/OU=xxx/OU=GB/O=xxx The Lotus Notes Traveler server cannot connect to your mail database mail/xxx.nsf on server CN=xxx/OU=xxx/O=xxx. Verify that your mail server mail database grants access to server CN=xx/OU=xx/O=xx and is operational.

Also the cleint device reports upto date - but cannot connect to server.

I dont know if its possible - but obviously the lotus notes client will failover to the other cluster member. Can traveler on the MDA do the same?
