Traveler and Android Motorlora Milestone

Recently i purchased Motorola Milestone with Android 2.1 I tried configuring Traveler on that, but it always failed to authenticate. I am correctly using the password, even tried resetting password to something simple password. But no luck it keeps on asking me user id and password every time i go to traveler url. Bcoz of which i cannot proceed further configuring traveler on my Milestone phone.

I tried downloading Lotus Traveler installer and tried manully configuring my account, still it give me same error. Unable to Authenticate to servers.

Did any one noticed similar error on other device.

We are Traveler 8.5.2 installed.

Subject: Mail File Access?

A couple thoughts come to mind…

Does your mail file have access for the Traveler server?

Your webmail password is what is used for Traveler authentication, not your Notes ID password. Test by accessing your mail file via iNotes. If you can log in to iNotes, you’ve confirmed the password and ID.

Subject: Motorola Milestone Android and Traveler

Thanks Jim,

I can access iNotes using the same user id and password. I tried adding manually Traveler Servers to ACL of my mail file, still no luck.

Looks like my handset Motorola Milestone with Android 2.1 does not support basic authentication. While rest of the servers does support.

Subject: I think it’s your version of Traveler

You said you were on 8.5.2. Did you Load FP1 for traveler? Traveler needs to be on 8.5.2.1 to support any android based device. Hope that helps.
