Traveler "Access Server" not obeyed

Traveler server is version 9.0.1.6 running in Domino 9.0.1FP3 32-bit (on Centos 6 server).

To limit users access to traveler server there is a Domino group called “phone-users”.

In the Domino servers “Server Document” which runs Traveler there is a Tab “Notes Traveler”.

There are 2 fields:

“Access Server: phone-users”

“Not access server:” (it is empty)

A user which is not in the group “phone-users” can still access Traveler.

Steps to reproduce:

  • A user X is in the group “phone-users” and can access Traveler using mobile phone
  • This user X is removed from “phone-users”
  • (Traveler is restarted)
  • User X receives new mail in Traveler as nothing has changed

Is this correct behaviour for Traveler? Is there anything more to configure to lock out the users?

Subject: server access

You can create a “No Access” group and place the user into the “No Access” group.

You should open a PMR with the Server Core Team and have them look at server access debug to see what is happening.
