Traveler 9 slow corporate lookups om Apple devices

I founded an issue with corporate lookups for contacts on Apple devices - results appear after 3-5-7s even name typed completely. There is no problem with same lookups on Android device. I take 2 phones (iPhone 5S and LG G2mini) and connect them to the same Wi-Fi access point and the same network. Both devices configured for the same user and signal strength is good enough. Then, begin typing - Android return results in 0-1-2s, Apple - in 3-5s. iPhone show results from recent Sent items first, and then, after 3-5s show ‘server lookup results’. Android device (with legacy client installed from Traveler server) perform lookup faster. I check it on iPad and iPhone 4S additionally - same 3-5 s.

Traveler version - 9.0.1.13, but issue was discovered on 9.0.1.11 first. Domino 9.0.1FP6 64 bit Windows 2008R2, Traveler status - Green, no errors on Traveler console. iOS 9.3.5 on both Apple devices and Android 5.0.1 on G2 mini. All devices connected via HTTP.

Any ideas?

Subject: Traveler as lookup server

Hi Pavel,

You can use the parameter NTS_TRAVELER_AS_LOOKUP_SERVER=true to enable the devices to lookup against the Traveler server instead of the mail server names.nsf. You can read more on the document below:

IBM Documentation https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SSYRPW_9.0.1/corporatelookupsettings.html

Subject: Re:

Thank you, Jonathan!

I’ll try to change this parameter on next upgrade (9.0.1.15).

(I prepared to do this on 9.0.1.14, but cancelled update due some reported issues with .14)

Subject: something changed

Upgraded to 9.0.1.15 and enable NTS_TRAVELER_AS_LOOKUP_SERVER=true

Lookup on Last name became faster, but lookup on Alternate name is slow anyway
