Traveler 8.5 problem : Document is not signed

Dear All, I have a master domino 7.0.3 server and add member 8.5 domino and running traveler ,but the 8.5 server log always show below error message ,Have andy body get the same problem with me and how to fix the problem.

Problem with signature on policy document or one of the policy setting documents it specifies: Document is not signed.

Notes Traveler: SEVERE *system Internal Error: Debug Data: Error on UpdateProfileFromPolicyError: Database xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx. Error(259 )=Document is not signed.

It sounds like you added a Domino 8.5 server running Traveler to you existing 7.0.3 Domino domain. Please make sure your Domino 8.5 server template is not getting replaced (replicated) from the master 7.0.3 server. The 8.5 server names.nsf template (pubnames.ntf) needs to be at the 8.5 level.

Hi,

I’m having the same problem. The message shows when I use the RegisterNewUser-method within the NotesRegistration class. We’re using an organizational policy with only a single desktop policy settings document. I tried to edit and re-save the policy documents in order to “fix” the signatures, but unfortunately, that didn’t help . Has anyone found a solution to this, yet?

Fortunately, the problem went away after deleting and re-creating the existing policy documents. Just editing and saving didn’t seem to help.
