Traveler 8.5.2 - Debug info shown on Nokia E72

There seems to be some forgotten debug code in traveler for Symbian S-60 on Nokia E72. When Traveler is running pressing the Shift key displays a series of (apparently) debug output codes in the top-right corner of the device.

The output codes are in black on pale blue and read

iFnKeyState=EFnkeyLock

iFnKeyState=EFnkeyNone

iFnKeyState=EFnkeyPressed

iFnKeyState=EFnkeyDown

iFnKeyState=EFnkeyPressedAgain

iFnKeyState=EFnkeyNext

I know this is not a functional problem per se but it distracts some of our users (especially my boss) so that in one occasion I actually had to put in back the 8.5.1 version.

Any ideas? Is there any way to fix it?

This is fixed in the 8.5.2 refresh that supports group 1 and 2a languages. It’s available on passport advantage as of today.

Subject: Confused about version

My installed traveler client is 8.5.2.0 201007201801

Fix central only lists 8.5.13 as the latest installed version and then recomments 8.5.1 FP3

Please advise what latest version you are referring to - is it a HF, FP ?

Thanks, Sean

8.5.2 is a full release, so it is not a “fix”. You can get it from passport advantage and possibly other channels.

It looks like you already have the English only 8.5.2 release, so you just need to upgrade to the NLV with group 1 and group 2a languages (but still 8.5.2 with a different date).

Also, this is a document that the Traveler team is going to keep updated and it gives a more complete picture of every release and fixes. You might want to reference this in the future (though you will still need to go through fix central or passport advantage for downloads)
