Traveler 8.5.2.1 - No Sent folder on device

When an Apple iPhone 4 is set up to use Traveler the folders show up, but the sent folder is missing.

Other people with the same mailtemplate and same type og phone hav no problem in viewing the sent folder.

The sent folder (actually the $Sent view) has the same design on all mailbokses.

What is needed to get the Sent folder on the device?

  1. Take a user dump “tell traveler dump ”. In the file that is outputted, look for the Sent folder. If it is there, then Traveler knows about it and has synced it to the device at some point in the past. If not, Traveler cannot see that the Sent folder exists in the mail database.2. If Sent is in the dump, then Apple has probably “lost” the folder. There is some history here where the device “forgets” or “loses” a folder. Deleting the account on the device and recreating it should fix it.

  2. If the Sent folder is not in the dump, then there is an issue between Traveler and the mail database itself. First, try doing a “tell traveler reset ” which will cause Traveler to do a fresh (start over) prime sync with the server and then send a new copy of everything to the device (after deleting what is there now). If that doesn’t work, then something in the mail database is probably corrupted and you’ll need to run fixup on the mail database, run the reset, etc.
