I have a dbase (size is 2,1GB) whose local replica does not send from trash. To be more specific when I delete a mail on dbase on server it will move to trash, as it should. When I replicate I can see the mail on trash folder in local replica, as it should. But, when I delete a mail in local replica, I can see it on local trash but when I replicate it will desappear on server.
I have refreshed the design, recreated the replica but the problem persists on all local replicas I have created. I even turned off and on the soft deletions but with no success.
I think that the problem would be solved if I reduced the size at about 700MB but is there another way for this?
Subject: Trash folder not replicating from local replica
check the replication settings on both the local replica and the server replica (Advanced tab) to make sure replicate incoming deletions is not disabled. There is also a property on the Send tab “do not send deletions made in this replica to other replicas”. make sure that is not turned on.
This is how soft deletions are supposed to work. They don’t replicate from a local database to the server. Some people like this and some don’t but I don’t think there is anything that you can do about it.
See the technote below:

Problem
Documents that are soft deleted from a local replica are hard deleted after replicating with the server. However, a document soft deleted on the server and replicated to the local mail database remains in the trash folder in both the local and server replicas. It is not deleted.
