Good morning,
I have this issue where the client’s Trash is being deleted when exiting the mail file, no matter what the setting is.
Tried to have it set Manually, Trash got deleted. Tried the Prompt when closing, client selected No to delete Trash, but it still got deleted.
Client is 6.5.5, OS XP. Problem was present before last week XP upgrade and after as well.
A complete reinstall of Lotus Notes clien has been done already.
Template has been replaced.
New local replica created.
Desktop compacted.
Cache deleted.
Still having issue.
Help anyone?

Kelly,
I may be misunderstanding … but if this is in relation to soft deletes, then change the number of hours for the soft delete (last tab of db properties) and see if that helps. The number doesn’t matter, it’s just forcing the db to acknowledge that soft deletes are turned on.
If I’m misunderstanding, my apologies.

Yeah Raphael… sounds like that.Database Properties - Advanced tab. Allow soft delete… Select the number of hours till its permanently deleted
