In the notes.ini file, I commented the MAILMAXTHREADS=2, quit the router, then reloaded the router. Prior to commenting the above entry, when I did a ‘tell router sh q’, I got
the following:
Transfer Threads: Max = 2; Total=14;Inactive = 0 etc…
After commenting the notes.ini line, I got
Transfer Threads: Max = 25 Total =14…etc…
I had to quit the router for something, but now when I load the router it is back to
Transfer Threads: Max = 2;
The notes.ini line is still commented out. I was told by Lotus tech support that domino automatically assigns the Transfer Threads value base on the system RAM. Mail routing was sooo much faster when this value was 25. Now that it is back to 2 , mail is crawling.
I want to fix it so that quitting the router or server will not change this value to 2 everytime.
Any advice or insight is very mcuh appreciated.
