I know that transaction logging has been the subject a few times - and I’ve read probably all the entries. We will be upgrading from R4.6.5 to R6.5.3 on Windows 2003 server. After reading the forum and the white paper on transaction logging I am still not sure what are the best practices and how you (folks that have been using it for a while) use it. Do you enable it for all databases, some, or you don’t bother at all. Any pros, cons, gotchas.I will apreciate any comments.
Also, any tips from your experience on the upgrade process ?
