OK, Just recently upgraded my Domino servers to v8.0.1 from v7. I have been using transaction logging successfully for a while now and having Backup Exec doing the backups without any problems.
However, since the upgrade to Domino 8, the backups have grown exponentially and when I examine the server to try and determin why this may have occured, I notice that a lot of the files on the servers are showing almost DAILY fixups. No wonder the backups have grown so much. But what is causing the Fixups? Whatever the process that is running that is doing it, it is starting at midnight. Don’t think it is the design task, because that does not start till 1 AM.
No, there is no program document that would be doing this, and no there is no line in the Notes.INI for Tasksat12.
Wondering if anyone else has noticed the same thing or what might be causing this?
