I just bought the touchdown app and just cant seem to enforce a pin password on my Android phone. It shows on the security settings in touchdown simple password but cant get it to require a pin. I look in my server settings and it looks like everything is correct and enabled but just will not enforce for some reason.
I spoke with a touchdown rep and they told me not there issue there product works correctly and to try lotus…

I think the touchdown would work ok on a windows mobile phone or something like that. But on my droid the preference is set an unlock pattern, I don’t even see a way to change that to a pin number. Also, the active sync in traveler was made specifically for the iPhone, Windows Mobile, and Nokia S60. If you call IBM and ask them about touchdown they’d tell you the same, they don’t support third party apps like this…even though it works well. Hopefully IBM will kick it into gear and get Traveler 8.5.2 out so it can support the droid.
