Toolbars in 6.0.1 CF1 Shifting

I’ve recently upgrade my client to R6.0.1 CF1 from R5.0.8. R6 is working well with one exception. The Toolbars keep moving around. I’d like to have them work at least as well as they did in R5 (you know, properties button in the upper left, search button in the upper right, other buttons appearing when appropriate) but every time I move them where I want, they stay, that is until I do anything in notes. It seems like anything I put in the upper left always wants to move to the right a couple inches. Other toolbars adjust themselves at random so some of the buttons become hidden.

Is this an issue with R6? Anyone else seeing this? I can’t imagine rolling this out to end users with this issue. I can just imagine some day buying a new car, fast, sleek, stylish, but one little issue, the instrument panel rearranges itself at will.

I am using R6.0.1 CF1 on XP and Win 2000 and I se the same problem.

If I remove all Toolbars and add a new one it may turn up on a second line with toolbars - If I move the toolbar to the upper bar/subwindow I am not able to move it to the left.

I used this:https://www-10.lotus.com/ldd/nd6forum.nsf/55c38d716d632d9b8525689b005ba1c0/27dee1dbf48f7f2585256c6e006381bc?OpenDocument

and it fixed it for me…

I observed this anomaly after a fresh install of Notes version 7.0.2.The solution that Dan linked fixed the weird toolbar behaviour.

Thank you, Dan!

Hi Everyone,

Does anyone know if this has been fixed? We are using R6.0.3 and still see this problem, it’s random though, not on everyone’s machines.

We are running Windows 2000.

Hayley.
