Toolbar Icon with EditFind

When we compose an e-mail message, a standard (head office) corporate footer comes in. I have a user who live in Quebec and is updating the footer manually to add some stuff to their closing.

Currently they are doing it manually. They asked if it would be possible to create a smart icon to search the current footer, insert some additional text where they wanted so they don’t have to do this manually all the time.

I originally figured it would be pretty easy, but the the hard part seems to be getting the “cursor” to the spot where we want to add the text.

(1) Yes, we can place the cursor at the right spot,

(2) yes we could do a Control-F and manually enter what we are looking for the right spot

(3) I could probably delete the whole footer and add it back in.

But is there anything simpler? Would seem like this should be fairly easy.

For example, if the footer currently says:

This is a PRIVATE message. If you are not the intended recipient, …

And they want to add before the “This is a PRIVATE…”, “Ce message est CONFIDENTIEL…” so they get something like

Ce message est CONFIDENTIEL…

This is a PRIVATE message. If you are not the intended recipient, …

Just curious.

Thanks
