To move out of nested @if

Hi All,

Consider a nested @if statements. For example:

@if

( cond1;

@do

(@if(cond11;@do;else@do);

@do(–

–);

@do()

)

So, is there any way to move out of this nested @if. I tried @Return(“”),@Return(@false),“” and many other options but all in vain.

You can also consider this problem that is there any way to have an unconditional branching statement such as GOTO in Lotus Script.

Please help me.

it’s difficult to tell you how to do what you want. Much easier if you post the actual code rather than bits and pieces that don’t really make any sense.

Ankhur, there is goto functionality in script. However, you won’t be making any friends with that code.

You could do somehting like:

@If(Condition; Reposnse);

@If(Condition; Reposnse);

@If(Condition; Reposnse);

@If(Condition; Reposnse);

But that is not the same as one @If. The above code will exit after the first successful @If returns. (I Think) Where as on @if statement will return only once. So you are guaranteed to get the value you want.
