To Field in the email

we have a functionality on a button like if the user hits the button the email should be triggerred to the Approver selected in the document and to the requestor(in CC of the email).

It works fine for me, but if one of my user does the same thing then the user gets the email (his name is in cc but the “TO” field is blank (approver)). Not sure if i try the same it works the emails sends to the user fine.

Could you please let me know for any suggestions or trouble shooting steps for this?

Would like to add some more information on the above post.

We use the variant to get the approver value from the document and put it in the SendTo field of the mail document.

In the error capturing we don’t get any errors. Is it because of the variant and lotus notes version.

I use lotus notes 8.5 but we dont get any issues
