To extract some fields from documents in the mail database

Hi All,

I am just think of an Agent to extract some data from email documents (around 400 emails) that are sitting in a mail file and this should run against some selected documents only.

I am thinking something like, user can select the documents ( by clicking at them ) and when he select the agent from the Action menu, to generate a cvs file in a specified place ( c:\Test) extracting following fileds.

  1. the reply-to email address

  2. the subject line

  3. the body of the message (plain text, not html)

Hi Mira,

Try this:

Create a template NotesDocument with fields replyto", “subject” and “body”. Remove commas from body if necessary. All field can hold multiple values. Create a 4th computed field with formula replyto+subject+body. Then this 4th field contains all your data in an “array”.

Put the value of this field in a cvs file.
