To access a view from a different database through outline in current database target frame

I wanted to open a view (from my current database ) that reside in a different database. I have used outline-Action & given formula. I am able to open the views. But i wanted to open it in my target frame. I have used @settargetframe. Its not working. Please suggest.

The code that i have used to access view in outline properties, action type is as below :

@SetTargetFrame(“down”);

tmpsrv := @GetProfileField(“frmGlobalParam”;“g_OrgSrvTX”);

server := @If(tmpsrv = “”;@Subset(@DbName;1);tmpsrv);

db := @GetProfileField(“frmGlobalParam”;“g_OrgDbTX”);

srv := @If(@ClientType = “Notes”;server;“”);

@Command([FileOpenDatabase]; srv:db;“OHMSlookupDeptSecHazard”)

Please suggest.

Did you try setting the Frame in the outline entry?

Hi,

ya, I have used @settargetframe. But still it is opening the entire database. not that view.

I wanted to open a particular view from different database in my current databse target frame.

Please suggest.

Thanks in advance.

Not @settargetframe, I said the FRAME in the OUTLINE ENTRY. Look at the content block on the property box for the outline entry, there is a field under Value - Frame

Thanx for the reply.But i have used content type as ‘Action’. Once your content type is action, frame will automatically becoms computed.

So i cann’t set the frame.

So what shall i do? Please suggest.

Thanx in advance.

are you embedding the outline on a page? if so you can set the target frame in the page
